Paul Paquette, a member of SOFAAR and needlepointer extraordinaire, will be giving a very interesting talk on the history of European tapestry.

“… from the 8th century B.C. through the medieval age and the Renaissance. Its demise as an art form due to stylistic changes between the 17th and 19th centuries will be explored. Finally, its rebirth by 20th century hobbyists will be examined.”

This talk will take place at North Hills Museum as part of the Salt Box Talks of Adult Lectures.
