Saturday Snips June 8th – report

The rare sun was calling many to their gardens but 15 SOFAAR members chose to gather to work on their fibre projects at the very welcoming Granville Ferry Hall.

We “showed and telled” our work with Céleste’s encouragement and all left invigorated to continue work and to start some new projects.

Our next Saturday Snips will take place at the MacDonald Museum in Middleton on Saturday, July 13 in conjunction with our members’ show at the Museum

Julia Archer’s hooked cherry pie was a huge hit.
Tammy is starting a new cross stitch of summery flowers.
Mary was repairing and finishing the three bears hooked rug.
Rosaire looks a little daunted by the work ahead!
Penny and Céleste welcome a new member here for the summer.

Saturday Snips reminder: June 8th

We hope to see you this Saturday at the Granville Ferry hall for our monthly gathering of Saturday Snips. We will be at 5352 Highway One between 1 and 4 pm to work together on our individual stitching projects.

Come early to Annapolis and experience our famous Farmers’ and Traders’ market and grab some tasty lunch there before heading over to the Ferry to work on your project.

Don’t forget to bring some show and tell!

We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday, June 8th.
