A few of us were able to come out today to work on our projects at our scheduled fibre-crafting afternoon at North Hills this afternoon. It was such a lovely, sunny day that we were able to work outside and it was delightful.

Gail showed off her sock in progress and Christine is happy to report that her cat hooking is (almost) done. Just needs the border straightened up a bit!

Cathy, Kay and Cheryl were working away on knitting projects and we were thrilled to have new SOFAAR member Rachael join us all the way from Greenwood with her quilting project. CĂ©leste dropped in to say hi and have a glass of leftover Retreat wine with us !!

We hope to see you at our next event which will take place on the evening of Wednesday, November 1st at ARCAC upstairs when Dr. Niki Clark will give a talk on textile archaeology. She will share insights from 20 years’ research on prehistoric textiles of North and South America. 7 pm. This is a free event.
